This year, I had the pleasure of attending the In|Vest conference in NYC again, where major players in FinTech came together to discuss and explore the present state and future potential of technology in the wealth management industry.
When I reviewed my notes in my awesome Appway-branded notebook (shameless plug, I know), I came across topics which really resonated with me:
- Overall, HNWIs are not satisfied with the level of personalization in services from their wealth managers, and want to be more engaged in the process with the tools advisors (or the market) provide
- As many advisors are still not fully comfortable with incorporating technology, it is critical for financial firms to pick the right partners in tech for successful digital transformation
- Robo- and self-directed broker services are gaining popularity with the mass affluent client base
I was impressed by the value of the information, and how so many different types of professionals came together to learn and grow within this ever-changing industry.
That being said, my favorite aspect of the conference is the demos; they are both concise and entertaining, and, more importantly, they illustrate specific use cases.
I am proud to say that Appway had a demo slot at In|Vest this year, during which we launched our newest solution, Smart Client Update. Appway launched this solution to empower private banks, wealth managers, broker-dealers, multi-family offices, and universal banks to accompany clients through their financial journey, deliver an empathic customer experience, and respond to customers’ growing expectations for seamless management of changing account circumstances.
This solution comes with upgraded components, starter kits, and third-party connectors; firms which have already adopted Client Update report that it increases internal efficiency, enhances advisory effectiveness, and streamlines operations.
