Ian, the former sales director of moneyhub, is a natural business builder with experience of big growth firms. He has an intimate knowledge of the adviser marketplace and commands considerable respect amongst C-Level execs across the industry. Prior to joining moneyhub, Ian has worked with companies including Hymans Robertson, e-Value and AXA wealth.

Ian Smith biography:
Ian’s career started as a broker sales manager in the 80s with Scottish Amicable before progressing to National Account Manager with Prudential, then National IFA Sales Manager with Canada Life and IFA Sales Director with L&G. For the twelve years between 2000 and 2012 Ian helped found consultancy company CTW, specialising in organisational performance, personal development and behavioural psychology. Taking the opportunity to do a BSc in Psychology, he took over as MD and successfully steered the business to an exit for the two founding directors in 2011. He then joined AXA Wealth as Head of Distribution in April 2012 where he was responsible for the launch of AXA’s B2B2C Investment Platform across the UK. He has won several national awards for top performing UK sales manager and is known as a closer of large enterprise sales deals and a multi-million pound business winner.
