Many people are working from home 5 days a week for the first time as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. There’s been many useful and insightful tips across social media of how people can remain effective whilst working from home. Most have been interesting, some amusing and all seeking to be helpful.
However, the people or person element is only part of the challenge, there are also the PCs or laptops, the central systems and the connectivity to consider and master.
With a cloud based “as a service” offering, this is all simplified. For instance, with our investment reporting solution, Reporting as a Service, access to the reporting system is via a standard web browser.
This provides an investment firm with very strong business continuity, as all the client and fund reporting can be undertaken from the office, the back-up building, from home, or from anywhere with an internet connection. Also, the system automatically generates a complete audit trail of every step in the production process, and approval of reports can be undertaken online or via email.
Many reporting teams will be working from home for the first time for the production of their end month reports. We wish them all well with their work and hope the March month end/quarter end is smooth and that their reports are accurate and timely. For our clients already using Reporting as a Service, it’ll be business as usual.
Interestingly, on-boarding to Reporting as a Service is so quick and efficient, if we start before the end of April, you will be live in time for your end June 2020 reports!
Like all great solutions, our reporting service is simple to understand and use; Your data, your team, our system, your reports.
Reporting as a Service is a cloud-based system that provides investment firms with a complete end to end client and fund reporting solution, that is flexible, scalable and future proof. This allows users to manage and control the entire process and provide reporting of the highest quality to their clients.
