Our client, a high net worth family wanted to assess the viability of setting up a single family office which over time could be scaled to a multi-family office offering a full suite of services to other clients.
What we did
Working closely with a key family representative ‘Opus Una’:
- Defined the proposition (core and non-core products and services)
- Defined viable high-level operating model options
- Identified supplier selection criteria and potential suppliers
- Facilitated meetings with prospective product/service providers
Outcome delivered
Within a two week period, the client had a clear view of:
- A ‘Day 1’ proposition and how that could be evolved in stages
- What could be managed ‘in-house’ and what would need to be outsourced low, medium, high complexity operating models and a scale-up approach for each
- Prioritised supplier selection criteria
