As part of our UK WealthTech Landscape Report 2022, Stephen Wall, Founder of The Wealth Mosaic, speaks with Fahd Rachidy, CEO and Founder of ABAKA, who introduces the goals of the firm, talks about the main services it offers, and its market plans for the future.

ABAKA’s main goal is to help financial firms create personalised digital experiences, mainly for wealth managers, insurance companies, retirement providers and the banking industry. Rachidy says the key objective is to empower and educate their advisers to properly make product recommendations adapted to their clients' needs. It also works toward supporting its clients with issues that steam from digitalising the data-gathering process - by helping them administer large quantities of data to build intelligence.

Rachidy introduces ABAKA’s AI system with pre-trained machine learning systems that predict the best next actions for clients and continues by giving examples of successful adoptions of their personalisation solutions.

Questions:

  • Looking at your existing and target client base, why do they or would they choose to work with you, what makes your business and solutions relevant to them and what is it that makes you different from your competition?
  • Given your experience working with firms in the wealth management sector, what would you highlight as their leading opportunities and challenges today and in the next 3 years?
  • How is your solution offering set up to support these challenges and opportunities?
  • What are the characteristics that support the new and evolving needs of wealth managers?
  • Finally, can you tell us what is coming next with regard to your further development of the solution offering? What does the market need to know about your development plans?
