We are proud to announce that Erik Lamers has joined the management team of Virtual Affairs. He will focus on the commercial ambitions of the company, both in the Netherlands and abroad. The management team of Virtual Affairs is now comprised of Erik Lamers and Robin Peters. Peters will focus on the operational aspects of the FinTech company, including serving current customers.
“This is a great time for Virtual Affairs. Our customer base is steadily growing, both in the Netherlands and with international financial institutions. We aim to help banks and insurance companies in the Netherlands and beyond optimise their digital customer service. To achieve that goal, we have developed our solutions InsuranceRight and BankingRight and are ready to take the next step. Erik has a lot of experience and the drive to take this step. With a small management team, we can focus on the realisation of our ambitions.” - Robin Peters, director of Virtual Affairs.
Until recently, Erik Lamers (48) worked as the commercial director for Avanade. Under his commercial leadership, Avanade saw steep growth. He started his career as a developer at Cap Gemini and from there, made the switch to various commercial and business development functions.
Erik Lamers: “The financial sector is rapidly changing. Many banks and insurance companies see the need to become more customer-centric so that they can create loyal customers. But how can companies best do this? At Virtual Affairs, we have a clear vision for the future of banking and insurance. From this vision, we develop products that really help the financial sector. I am looking forward to putting our ambitions into practice in collaboration with Robin and our teams in Amsterdam, Sofia and Zurich.”
