Vestima
Vestima delivers a suite of investment fund services supporting the cross-border distribution needs of the investment fund industry around the globe. It provides a gateway to global funds solutions ranging from order routing, centralised delivery versus payment (DVP) settlement, safekeeping and asset servicing to collateral management. This allows customers to benefit from a streamlined process regardless of the variety of markets and investment funds involved.

Vestima provides a single entry point and standardised process for all fund transactions - from mutual funds to exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and hedge funds – and one fully-integrated set of reports and connectivity media.

With more than 190,000 investment funds from 43 jurisdictions, Vestima is the world’s largest cross-border fund processing platform.

Efficiency gains 
Clients of our Vestima platform realise efficiency gains through automation. Operational efficiency is significantly increased through DVP settlement, the synchronous exchange of cash and investment fund shares. Automation is a powerful tool in the investment funds sector where many companies still rely on faxes and phone calls.

Fund Desk – Distribution Support
The Fund Desk Distribution Support product range supports market participants in facing regulatory and other market challenges around fund distribution, such as MiFID II, and having full control over distribution chains. At a glance, the Fund Desk services cover distribution contract negotiation, compliance support services for eligibility control and anti-money-laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC) and know-your-distributor (KYD) rules, exchange fund data from asset managers to fund distributors and vice versa, as well as a distribution commission management service.

For Fund Distributors, Fund Desk provides a single point of access for fund documentation and product sheets across a wide community of asset managers. The optional fund research information service provides direct access to fundinfo, an independent fund research provider, which offers an extensive library of fund information to investors and financial intermediaries.

For Asset Managers, Fund Desk provides dynamic reporting on the volumes and trends of the distribution of their products across the Clearstream participants. This distribution support solution also helps asset managers to manage their compliance requirements (for example AML, KYC), including product governance requirements under the second Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II).
