Your intelligence. Your story. One platform.

Technology for Multi-Asset Portfolio Design, Analytics and Engagement

Jacobi allows firms to integrate their entire multi-asset investment lifecycle - from portfolio design, to portfolio management and, critically, to engaging with clients. The software combines market-leading cloud-based technology with a powerful multi-asset modelling engine. This is supplemented by  extensive tools to scale and automate investment and client engagement workflows.

Jacobi is unique in what is a crowded market for investment tools, systems and technologies. Specifically, it offers the following advantages:

  • Customisation potential - Unlike other investment technologies, Jacobi is highly customisable. Users can configure the system to meet their workflow needs, integrating their unique data, models and forward assumptions. For absolute flexibility, clients can code onto the platform. This allows firms to scale their unique processes while retaining their investment edge. We believe this is critical in an increasingly competitive investment management landscape;
  • Built for stakeholder engagement - Jacobi has been uniquely designed with stakeholder engagement in mind. Creating a bridge between investment, relationship management and clients, groups use Jacobi’s white-labelled technology to showcase their investment expertise and strengthen client relationships; and
  • Technology to future proof your business - Jacobi’s innovative cloud-based technology provides a springboard for a firm’s future innovation and growth. After initial implementation, clients have the unique ability to create and industrialise additional tools and models at an accelerated pace over in-house or off-the-shelf approaches. Leveraging Jacobi’s “open-architecture” philosophy and leading API connectivity, Jacobi can fit and complement a client’s mix of systems, data and processes.

Features

  • Institutional modelling capability - Jacobi includes a powerful multi asset modelling engine where users can integrate their own forward assumptions and run stochastic simulations, with wide flexibility to adjust the modelling framework. A suite of ex ante analytics can then be generated using the platform. Jacobi also calculates a comprehensive mix of ex post analytics to support processes.
  • Comprehensive investment tooling - Jacobi has advanced modules to scale investment workflows across the portfolio design, management and risk monitoring phases. Examples include portfolio optimisation, model & client portfolio builder applications, CIO & risk oversight dashboards, What-If & Stress Testing toolkits, and private asset commitment-pacing applications.
  • Highly customisable - Users can integrate their own data, assumptions and models, and then configure the dashboard and application environments to fit their requirements. For absolute flexibility, the platform also includes a unique software development kit that allows firms to code onto the platform, using Python.
  • Highly connectable - The software is provided as a private deployment for each client with its own API for integrating data and processes. Being a truly open architecture provider, Jacobi also facilitates API connections with other 3rd-party vendors such as custody, CBoR, IBoR and market data providers.

Benefits

  • Achieve more with less - With Jacobi, firms can connect, extend and scale their investment capabilities and processes. Leveraging a powerful ex ante modelling and analytics engine, with key workflow features such as what-if analysis and stress testing, Jacobi reduces reliance on single-user systems, spreadsheets and disparate systems;
  • Tighten oversight and governance - Jacobi offers extensive features to monitor and track risk within and across portfolios, both ex-post and ex-ante. Extensive dashboarding and report designer functionality helps to improve transparency and automate risk monitoring. Additionally, all platform usage is tracked in the system. This ensures processes are tightly governed and controlled; and
  • Strengthen relationships with clients - With a wide mix of tools to support collaboration and engagement with stakeholders, Jacobi helps investment managers to strengthen their relationships and be a trusted partner. Ultimately, with better engagement comes more opportunities to partner with clients and grow the business.
