Another year has almost passed and honestly, it feels like it’s skipped by faster than ever. Wasn’t it just a few weeks back that I was relaxing on the beach in Asia after delivering our second APAC WealthTech Landscape Report and first APAC WealthTech Live event in Singapore? Alas, that was May and I’ve been beavering away back in the UK for much of the past few months. Obviously, it’s windy and rainy here, and winter has arrived! So, as we edge nearer to the end of the year, it feels like a suitable time to start looking back on another year of development at The Wealth Mosaic (TWM).

At TWM, we are committed to providing our audience with the latest insights and resources to navigate the ever-changing landscape that is wealth management. Through our comprehensive platform, we have curated valuable content, including industry reports, whitepapers, and research, to help professionals stay ahead. We have delivered a range of events to provide our community with a frequent meeting place to network and foster knowledge sharing. We also continue to support the wealth management community with our model led by our Solution Provider Directory (SPD), which now features over 2,500+ solution providers and 6,000+ solutions.

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue supporting wealth management professionals with the information and tools they need to thrive in this dynamic environment. Stay tuned to The Wealth Mosaic for more insightful content and resources to keep you informed and competitive in the wealth management industry.

Our year at a glance
Below we’ve highlighted our main achievements from the year, from our report programme, annual events and research project to our new and highly anticipated new website that is due to be launch in early 2024.

Our reports
Our reports have become a mainstay of our knowledge hosting and sharing across the market. During 2023 they have continued to develop in terms of both scope and gravitas. Not only do they showcase the depth and variety of firms in our SPD, but also the breadth of technology-related topics at play across the full wealth management sector.

In 2023, we released the following reports:

Looking into 2024, we have more reports planned from our WTLR series; country, region or community specific, with a supporting A-Z directory of vendors. Our WealthTech Views Report Series (WTVRs) meanwhile is topic-focused and will feature new iterations such as the WealthTech Innovators (WTI). A new report series, ‘As a Wealth Centre’ (AAWC), is also coming into play. Although, the initial focus for 2024 is the WealthTech 2024 Report (January), Swiss WTLR 2024 (February) and US WTLR 2024 (April).

Our new website: The Wealth Mosaic Version #2
This year, we have also been hard at work creating a new version of the TWM platform. The new site will provide our users with an enhanced user experience, advanced features and segmentation, and offer a range of new functions to better serve your needs in the wealth management industry.

We have advanced search capabilities, added personalised content recommendations, increased the levels of segmentation available, enhanced profiles and solution pages, created a home for our content, added our service pages and much, much more.

At TWM, we are committed to providing a platform that is not only informative but also fosters collaboration and innovation within the wealth management community. We will continue to drive this goal forward in 2024. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements!

Our research projects
A part of our business that has developed significantly in the past year is research. The year has seen us deliver on the below research-led projects:

Starting in 2024, we’ll be launching our latest UK-focused research, delivered with the support of Ortec Finance. The whitepaper summarises the results of executive interviews and focuses on ‘Becoming the trusted wealth coach and adviser’ to clients. We’ll also be kicking off our first new research piece for the year, which we hope to release by the end of the first quarter.

Looking further into 2024, we expect to deliver new research projects in our core markets – Asia, Europe, the UK, and the US.

Our events
We were also pleased to support and lead several events throughout the year. Alongside Owen James Events, we ran four WealthTech Matters events through the year, three in London across our usual three pillars of the Client, the Adviser and the Business, and our first in Switzerland. We also ran our first event in Singapore.

•    WealthTech Matters – The Client (London, March 2023)
•    APAC WealthTech Live 2023 (Singapore, May 2023)
•    WealthTech Matters – The Adviser (London, June 2023)
•    WealthTech Matters – The Business (London, November 2023)
•    WealthTech Matters – Switzerland (Zurich, November 2023)

Into 2024 and again alongside Owen James Events, we’ll again be running three UK WealthTech Matters events in the UK and one in Switzerland. We’re also working together on our second Swiss WealthTech Live 2024 at SIX ConventionPoint, Zurich, on the 6th of February. After that, we’ll be hosting WealthTech Matters – The Client at SEI offices in London on the 7th of March.

Not only is it great to bring the market together, but we are excited to deliver events to work more closely with the team at Owen James and also to further develop and integrate a model which runs across web, directory, content, research and events. A rounded campaign and engagement model – for all members of the wealth management community.

We’re looking forward to bringing you more in 2024. If you’re interested in learning more about our full offering for 2024, then check out our Work with Us in 2024 catalogue.

Thanks to all of our clients who we’ve worked with on the report, research and event projects mentioned above.
