The RegTech industry is booming. The Grand View Research has forecasted a 52.8% compound annual growth rate and a whooping $55.28 billion market size by 2025. To keep up with the developments, we find it vital to join the ongoing conversations within the space.

Planning and prepping for the year ahead, we have compiled a list of the top 10 RegTech conferences to keep on your radar in 2020. These events are great opportunities to get together with inspiring professionals, thought leaders and fresh thinkers from around the globe to drive the next wave of innovation.

Below we have listed the RegTech conferences to make plans around in 2020.

Paris FinTech Forum
From the 28th to the 29th of January, the Paris FinTech Forum kicks off the season—for the fifth year in a row. Focusing on big topics such as payment, wealth management, blockchain and digital assets, the event is supported by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, as well as top managers of major financial organisations.

Based our experience of last year’s edition this is a great event to soak up knowledge and inspiration from some of the most trusted voices in the industry. With over 2600 attendees, more than 250 CEO speakers and 160+ FinTechs, we expect nothing short of awesome!

Finovate Europe
This spring, Finovate will launch its first European edition, taking place in Berlin between the 11th and 13th of February. We look forward to a real pan-European FinTech event covering topics such as open banking, payment services, user experience and AI in the legal industry.

Along with the new location comes the updated three-day format. Day one will be devoted to a series of individual events, allowing visitors to focus on a specific area of financial technology. The next two days will be held in the form of a general report session consisting of seven-minute presentations of the latest FinTech innovations.

Money LIVE Spring
Money LIVE Spring attracts prime movers, incumbent leaders and FinTechs across Europe’s banking and payments ecosystem for a three-day jam-packed, interactive event.

The conferences will take place in Madrid between the 9th and the 11th of March and cover topics such as:

  • The future of banking and the payment landscape
  • The impact of PSD2
  • Customers impact of 2-factor authentication
  • Perfecting the customer relationship, presented by Europe’s leading retail bank

It is the perfect opportunity to learn from over 40 European speakers and network with more than 350 senior professionals. TSAM Asset Management

COMPLY 2020
The COMPLY Conference has for the past five years united the industry and served as a catalyst for the advancements of the Compliance, Risk and RegTech ecosystem. It brings together the most comprehensive gathering of regulators, compliance and risk professionals, sales and marketing leaders, innovators, investors, and legal experts from across the globe.

COMPLY 2020 will be held in New York City between the 5th and 6th of May. Some of the confirmed speakers for this year’s edition are Ben Nemti, bestselling author of “What Do You Want To Do Before You Die?”, Andrew Smith, the Director of the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, plus the spokesmen of many relevant companies in the sector such as BBVA, Credit Suisse, American Bankers Association, Compliance.ai and more.

Global RegTech Summit
Each year, the Global RegTech Summit gathers more than 1,000 senior-level delegates in London, including over 100 CCOs, CTOs, MDs & directors from financial institutions. Other high-profile attendees include compliance, innovation, technology, risk management and cybersecurity professionals from around the globe.

Between the 13th and 15th of May, the summit will cover topics such as:

Between the 16th and 18th of June, the agenda will be set out to answer the following questions:

Dedicated to payments, FinTech and retail, the Seamless Asia 2020 exhibition takes place in Singapore between the 24th and 25th of June.

The conference claims to be for those serious about customer experiences and includes a large series of inspirational keynotes from experts across the world.

Part of a series of events that spans the globe, attendees benefit from the very latest trends, cutting edge technologies and collaboration opportunities. In the FinTech stream we can look forward to an array of topics, including:

  • Compliance and data protection.
  • Solving challenges for global banks with diverse lines of businesses in complying with regulations.

LendIt
With events in USA, Europe, Latin America and China, LendIt is one of the leading events for innovation in financial services. Each year, the events attract thousands delegates and FinTech leaders to connect and reimagine the future of finance.

Legal Geek
Taking place on the 14h and 15th of October in London, the Legal Geek 2020 edition has extended its programme into a jam-packed two-day event. This year, the flagship event gets accompanied by a follow-up day of interactive workshops and discussion panels.

Attendees can look forward to networking with more than 2,000 attendees and learning from 100+ international speakers.

Since its start in San Fransisco back in 2016, Legal Geek has defined and redefined law tech events, attracting thousands of ‘law-gends’ from around the world. Our visit at the 2019 edition did certainly not disappoint and we are convinced this year’s event will be epic.
