Our story
We started Cybrilla in 2010 in a windowless garage with nothing but laptops, determination, and a shared belief that technology in the world of finance could be made better. Our early days weren't glamorous - just a handful of us learning through trial and error, and tackling challenges that seemed impossibly complex at first. But through these experiences, we gradually built our understanding of the industry's needs.
To a great extent, our partners in the mutual fund space have shaped who we are today. For example, India’s first robo-advisor and direct fund platform entrusted us with solving their challenges.
We also realised we were part of an industry where mutual fund houses and distributors relied heavily on legacy infrastructure and outdated tools that slowed transactions and increased costs. And it was all accepted as "business as usual." We saw an opportunity to change this. We built the FinTech Primitives (FP), our API platform that simplifies mutual fund transactions. FP, our hero product, is currently being used by over 70 partners.
