Swissquote, the Swiss leader in online banking, has entered into a partnership with the WealthTech solution provider Etops Group to launch a jointly developed all-in-one platform for external asset managers. Ensuring compliance with the Financial Services Act in asset management is a complex, labour-intensive and expensive task. «Asset Master» lightens asset managers’ workload in every respect.
Cham, Switzerland | 30 January 2023. The new information and conduct requirements under the Financial Services Act (FinSA) came into force just over a year ago. Initial experience has shown that compliance with the assessment and documentation duties poses a challenge for small and medium-sized asset managers in particular. Many existing software solutions are too broad in scope and thus expensive. This is where Swissquote’s new all-in-one platform comes in.
«Asset Master» simplifies both advisory and portfolio management processes. Swissquote opted to base its new platform on the CRM and PMS solution from Etops. The platform brings together a range of solutions – from aggregating the required data from various sources and in various formats to filtering out key figures, analysis and FinSA-compliant data storage.
The two partner companies are already working to expand the newly launched platform. Later this year, it will support electronic onboarding of asset management clients as well as direct trade entry with order status notification. An integrated marketplace designed as an open ecosystem is also planned as a means of linking providers of financial products and services in Switzerland to external asset managers and family offices.
«With <Asset Master>, we are offering our customers an all-in-one solution that allows them to focus on their core business, namely advising their clients and managing client assets,» says Anthony Gimigliano, Head Institutional Business at Swissquote.
Pius Stucki, CEO of Etops Group, adds, «All of our solutions are focused on connectivity, meaning that they bring people, knowledge, data, systems and processes together. We aim to achieve greater automation, to integrate all relevant tools and to simplify complex processes while ensuring that data can be shared. All of this is reflected in Asset Master.»
