As both a private banker and a client, we saw various challenges for those seeking a provider: opaque information and inflated fees, particularly among clients referred by friends (it was a given that for personal referrals wealth managers set fees at a higher level due to the lack of any meaningful competition at play). So in 2012, after extensively researching the industry and private clients’ needs, we decided to give up our day jobs and launched findaWEALTHMANAGER.com.

Our mission is to provide investors with an objective, fast and free method of finding the right wealth manager based on their own specific needs – while also giving wealth management firms a more cost-effective way to find new clients.
