Earlier this year, we collaborated with First Rate to create a WealthTech Social event in Singapore, giving industry professionals a chance to discuss the new role of AI in the industry.
This session’s panel, hosted by John Choi, Managing Director of First Rate, and Francis Oh, APAC CEO of Qraft Technologies, focused on the evolution of technology within the wealth administration industry, which has led to current trends like embedded finance and the building of ecosystems. AI was mainly referred to as a valuable tool to support advisers with manual work, such as determining ESG levels or personalising advice based on risk appetite, goals, and preferences.
