Blake founded Financial Education Literacy Advisors (FELA) in 2005, which at the time was one of the first private, socially responsible enterprises with a mission to improve consumer financial health. In 2010, he pioneered the development of LifeCents, one of the first financial education technologies, and today, LifeCents remains the standard bearer in the wellness industry.

In 2018, FELA officially rebranded to LifeCents to reflect its ongoing commitment to reimagine the possibilities of financial wellness. As the company grows, LifeCents remains steadfast to its mission of helping people, businesses and communities thrive by moving the needle of financial health.
