Could you provide a brief introduction to your business?
Moneytree was founded more than 40 years ago with one purpose — to help financial professionals create accurate, easy-to-understand plans that clients could truly trust. That mission hasn’t changed. What’s evolved is how we deliver on it.

We started as a desktop solution that gave advisors more control and visibility into their calculations. Today, we’re a fully modern platform designed for advisors who need that same accuracy with far greater speed and flexibility. Whether advisors are building detailed cash-flow models or quick goal-based plans, our focus is still the same: to transform complex financial data into meaningful advisor-client conversation.

In the wealth management sector, what types of clients do you primarily work with and target?
We work with a wide range of firms from independent RIAs, regional banks, broker-dealers, and large enterprises. What unites them is a shared focus on delivering advice with integrity and soundness.

Some are single-advisor practices that pride themselves on personal service. Others manage large planning teams and need tools that scale across hundreds of clients. Moneytree supports both because our software adapts to how each firm works. The flexibility to customize and still maintain consistency is something every one of our users' appreciates.

Why do your existing and target clients choose to work with you? What makes your solutions relevant and distinct from your competitors?
Advisors choose Moneytree because they can be sure of the numbers and clearly explain them to clients. Our calculation engine has long been recognized as one of the most precise in the industry, giving advisors complete visibility into how every figure is derived.

Also, we here at Moneytree understand that every client engages differently with their financial advisor. Some prefer a concise, easy-to-read report that shows exactly where they stand financially. Others want to follow the details behind each recommendation and understand how every number was calculated. Moneytree supports both approaches. It offers simple, one-page summaries for anyone who wants the highlights, and complete line-by-line visibility for those who gravitate towards deeper analysis. There’s no ‘black box’ here — just clear, reliable data that helps advisors deliver confident, informed advice, in whatever format their client prefers.

That combination of depth and simplicity is what sets Moneytree apart. We’ve built a platform that adapts to the advisor’s style and the client’s comfort level. Bridging the gap between powerful analysis and meaningful conversation is one of the things I’m proud of.

What's next for your business? Can you share the firm's current focus and future plans, such as product development, market expansion, and strategic goals?
Our focus right now is collaboration and workflow efficiency. We recently launched an automated client-onboarding tool that simplifies data collection and gives advisors a cleaner, more accurate starting point for every client's plan.

From there, we’re investing in new visualization options, and enhancements that make it easier for advisors to tailor how they present results. Everything we develop is designed to strengthen that advisor-client connection. The more we can reduce friction behind the scenes, the more time advisors have for meaningful, relationship-building conversations.

Based on your experience in the wealth management sector, what key opportunities and challenges do you foresee for firms today and in the next three years?
Client expectations are changing faster than ever. Investors today want transparency, interactivity, and communication that feels personal. That's an incredible opportunity for firms that embrace it, but also a challenge for those that don’t evolve.

The key is to use technology as an enhancer, not a distraction. We’re not trying to replace the advisor; we’re empowering them to do what they do best: advise. The firms that thrive over the next few years will be the ones that combine great technology with genuine human connection — because that’s what clients truly value.
