BAM Advisor Services is a turnkey wealth management partner focused on advancing business for more than 130 independent wealth management firms. For a time, they pursued a technology strategy of "build" rather than "buy", however the limitations of this approach and the need to have a more adaptable and agile technology platform caused management to question this approach. Additional challenges included capacity and running an on-site server which created limits on growth and rising expectations from clients.
