  • CapGen has completed the first stage in a multi-year investment programme in its operational technology, working with tech partners Point Group to create a bespoke, state-of-the-art operating model.
  • The aim of the programme was to design and build a system that supports CapGen’s intent to grow whilst ensuring the bespoke nature of the service for which CapGen is known is maintained and continually improved.
  • Designed and delivered by CapGen’s technology partners, Point Group, the investment has focused on the effective and efficient exploitation of data to drive benefits across the client lifecycle from data collection, trade and execution through to portfolio analysis and reporting.
  • Following a detailed design and planning stage, the solution centres around Expersoft’s industry-leading PM1 platform (portfolio and order management and back office). It also integrates capabilities provided by PandaConnect (for data normalisation and aggregation services) and Point Group (for data analytics and reporting).
  • With the system now in place, CapGen has built the foundation from which to drive continued growth and deliver immediate benefits to clients.
