As financial industry veterans, we know how broken the current retirement model is. Many retirees have seen company pensions replaced with 401(k)s, which can be hard to grow without the right expertise. They've experienced tactics from financial salespeople that don't align with their best interests or they've been overlooked completely by traditional financial advisors who favor wealthier clients. As a result, most retirees are left to figure out retirement on their own without the tools or resources needed to confidently spend down the nest eggs they worked so hard to save.
