The SiftingIO Crypto Market Data API supplies aggregated reference prices and historical OHLCV data for supported USD-quoted digital assets, including bitcoin, ether and solana. It serves teams building digital-asset research tools, charting products and portfolio monitoring applications.

The aggregation process combines inputs from multiple centralised venues and filters stale observations and price outliers before publication. This gives applications a reference view across sources, rather than tying their display to the last price reported by one venue.

REST endpoints provide current prices and market snapshots. WebSocket streams deliver continuing updates for live interfaces. Historical bars are available through REST at documented intervals from one minute to one month, using UTC timestamps and pagination. Supported datasets include more than 10 years of history, with depth depending on the asset and dataset.

Developers can use historical observations to initialise charts or run their own research, then connect the stream to keep current values updated. The API supplies data for the customer's analysis; it does not hold assets or execute trades.

Documentation and SDKs support integration, and a free API account lets teams inspect coverage and responses before selecting a plan. Commercial use, customer-facing display and distribution requirements are addressed under the relevant plan and licence. Crypto data can also be combined with SiftingIO's equity, forex and commodity products within a multi-asset application.
