Live currency rates and historical forex data for multi-currency financial applications

The SiftingIO Forex Market Data API provides aggregated currency quotes and historical price series for supported major, minor and exotic pairs. It gives developers a source of FX observations for currency dashboards, portfolio valuation tools and financial research.

REST endpoints provide current bid and ask quotes with timestamps. Applications that need continuing updates can subscribe through WebSocket, while historical OHLCV bars are retrieved over REST. This separates the initial history load from live price delivery and lets teams choose the appropriate access method for each part of their product.

Supported forex datasets extend back more than 25 years. Historical availability varies by pair and dataset, so teams can check the required series during evaluation. Documented intervals, UTC timestamps and pagination support chart construction, simulations and longer-term analysis.

SiftingIO aggregates quotes from multiple liquidity sources into a reference view. The resulting data is useful for applications that need a consistent view of currency movements rather than a specific broker's execution price.

The product can be used alongside the platform's stock, commodity and crypto offerings in a multi-asset application. Public documentation and SDKs help developers implement the requests and stream handling. Free accounts provide an evaluation starting point; commercial plans support business use and customer-facing display under the applicable terms. The team can discuss additional coverage and licensing requirements before production use.
