Our story
We launched in 2007. Our Chairman throughout, Roger Foster, is a successful entrepreneur with over 30 years’ experience in Computer Software and Services for the Financial Services Industry.
At the outset we were purely a wealth management software business and achieved rapid success as Tercero quickly became the preferred software amongst the wealth management community.
A natural extension into the Investment Platform market followed and in 2016, substantial investment from Grafton Capital financed the launch of Third Platform Services, under Ian Partington's leadership. The service rapidly gained traction and has since established itself as the Platform of choice for incumbents and market entrants alike.
Having two service lines that reinforce each other is undoubtedly a winning formula. We are not only developing software but also using the software ourselves to power our Investment Platform offering. As such, we are always the first user of new Tercero releases and are continually driven to add innovative features to improve the efficiency of the software. And so the positive feedback loop continues.
Ian was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer in 2018.
