I have spent over 40 years in capital markets. In that time, I have seen many technologies described as transformative. Most were not.
Today, I want to tell you about one that is: TSIQ.
TSIQ is an AI platform that enables financial institutions to move beyond information retrieval and analysis to explain, recommend, and act while maintaining human oversight and control at every stage.
Most financial organizations that try to adopt AI will spend months on what I generously call a “data engineering project”, trying to reconcile three systems that each think Tuesday was a different day. Your orders are here. Your positions are there. Your risk data is somewhere else entirely.
With TSIQ your data is consolidated, current, and queryable. That means it is ready to reliably support agentic workflows. Your data is then structured by our proprietary semantic layer.
TSIQ users will rethink financial workflows from first principles and unlock immediate productivity dividends.
How the foundation evolved
Five years ago, well before generative AI became widely adopted across the industry, we began investing in the data, infrastructure, and expertise required to make AI useful in capital markets.
Since then, we have invested $100 million building TSIQ.
We integrated and now manage an annual $15 million investment in market and reference data from trusted providers including S&P Global, Refinitiv, SIX, and others. That information is available out of the box for TSIQ users.
We also built a proprietary semantic layer and ontology, shaped by our decades of trading, risk management, and investment expertise, that provides the context and business logic needed to connect data consistently across workflows, systems, and asset classes.
TSIQ: AI you can control, output you can defend
- Every output is subject to the permissions, approval workflows, and controls that govern the underlying business processes.
- Responses are entitlement-filtered and grounded in deterministic calculations with evidence and lineage.
- Workflows are structured by the semantic layer, creating an auditable framework that allows outputs to be traced back to verified sources.
- Recommendations are never executed automatically, and pre-trade controls remain in place.
- Certification is a key aspect of TSIQ’s control framework, with our underlying semantic layer validated against each product’s data model and workflows for maximum consistency, traceability, and control.
TSIQ applied to a buy-side desk workflow — from idea generation through execution and compliance.
TSIQ is accessible with the AI user interface of your choice. It answers questions in seconds that used to take hours to assemble. It can suggest a routing change, flag unusual exposure, or surface a cost saving venue.
I use TSIQ every day because it allows me to spend more time on the decisions that matter. Now you can, too.
Launch your AI strategy today with TSIQ. The AI reasons, while you stay in control.
