Although delegated management is a widespread management mode, beneficiaries lack relevant references against which to benchmark their profiles:

• Diversified open-end funds not directly comparable, no euro fund component.
• Published profile returns on the internet are scarce, often 100% ETF and limited to digital players.
• Returns published in the press are available once a year, late, and often involve profiles specifically chosen for their flattering performance (and therefore do not represent the market).

There is a lack of market indices, available on demand and sufficiently granular to be good comparables, similar to those available for funds.
