We appreciate the value of participating in the FinTech ecosystem and understanding the possibilities and difficulties it confronts. That is why we were so excited to attend the Swiss FinTech Fair 2023 on the 8th of September in Zurich.

The event provided an exclusive setting for over 800 participants to address critical themes and explore possibilities in the ever-changing FinTech sector. Our CEO, Ian Keates, participated on a panel titled “From Startups to Scaleups: Switzerland’s Vanguard Role in FinTech, Venture Capital, and Government-Backed Innovation.” Sandra Tobler (CEO of Futurae) led the panel, which also featured Eva Lüthi (Head of Entrepreneurship at Innosuisse) and Matteo Bernardis (Head of UBS Next Intelligence and Investing).

Ian Keates, CEO of Altoo, took part in a panel discussion entitled “From Startups to Scaleups: Switzerland’s Vanguard Role in FinTech, Venture Capital, and Government-Backed Innovation.”

The Swiss FinTech Summit 2023 began with a warm welcome and the opportunity to join the Innovation Area, allowing guests to network and develop vital relationships with a wide collection of FinTech exhibitors.

The Swiss FinTech Fair’s agenda this year included talks and keynotes by prominent industry experts, providing varied viewpoints on themes such as open banking, artificial intelligence (AI), the general condition of the Swiss and worldwide FinTech environment, and much more.

Additional workshop sessions were a hive of activity, bursting with excitement and generating significant relationships. It was amazing to see people from all backgrounds join together to discuss subjects like fundraising and venture capital, as well as new trends in the FinTech sector.

Altoo was thrilled to be a part of this buzzing atmosphere, meeting with experts to learn about their specific technology difficulties.
