ERI is proud to announce that SMBC Nikko Bank (Luxembourg) (SNBL), in its continued collaboration with ERI and the use of OLYMPIC Banking System as its core banking platform supporting the growth strategy of its fund administration and custodian bank activities, has decided to extend the functional coverage of OLYMPIC Banking System to also replace its WEB Transfer Agent platform.
SNBL’s business and project teams have worked together with ERI to incorporate business processes in an ecosystem where OLYMPIC Banking System will comprise the central platform orchestrating the transfer agency activity as well as optimise the accounting processes relative to the custody activity.
“The aim was to restructure and harness synergies to simplify and standardise a complex IT system that was overly interfaced with third-party tools. OLYMPIC Banking System will enable us to meet the challenges of growth using a single, complete, scalable and fully integrated platform that exploits the modern principles of service-oriented architecture. Subscription/redemption calculations, in particular, are now directly managed in OLYMPIC Banking System, with results allowing a high degree of customisation.”, said Marcello De Paola, COO and Deputy Managing Director and member of SNBL's Board of Directors.
“We are pleased to have been able to contribute successfully to this very ambitious project and to support SNBL in its expansion and development”, said Christophe Constantin, Account Manager at ERI.
