As part of our 2022 WealthTech Landscape Report, Anthony Bream, Global Head of Partnerships at The Wealth Mosaic, interviews Paul Driver, Business Development UK at ERI, also known as the solution provider of the Olympic Banking System. In the interview, Paul discusses the current and future goals of ERI, and how they plan to adapt as the industry changes to ensure that they continue to support the growth of their diverse clientele.
Paul explains that ERI focuses on supporting firms by optimising their back-office operations, offering access to a flexible and open platform solution that will also allow them to control costs. When asked about the recent and accelerated digital transformation of the industry, Paul points out that the change has highlighted inefficiencies in the middle-office, which will put the focus on transformations going from back to front.
Additionally, to support this digital evolution, ERI’s platform is working towards making firms fitter and self-sufficient, by offering a single source of information, providing additional automation and a flexible platform.
The questions asked were the following:
- Looking at your existing and target client base, why do they or would they choose to work with you, what makes your business and solutions relevant to them and what is it that makes you different from your competition?
- Given your experience working with firms in the wealth management sector, what would you highlight as their leading opportunities and challenges today and in the next three years?
- How is your solution offering set up to support these challenges and opportunities? What are the characteristics that support the new and evolving needs of wealth managers?
- Finally, can you tell us what is coming next with regard to your further development of the solution offering? What does the market need to know about your development plans?
