Founded in 1999, FA Solutions delivers a modern, cloud-native platform purpose-built for the wealth and asset management industry. With more than two decades of experience, we have grown to serve a diverse global client base—empowering firms to streamline their operations, reduce risk, and scale with confidence.
Our mission has always been to help wealth managers focus on what matters most: delivering value to clients. In the wealth management sector, what types of clients do you primarily work with and target?
FA Solutions supports a broad spectrum of wealth managers including retail wealth managers, discretionary fund managers (offering both model portfolios and bespoke services), and firms managing their own internal funds.
We typically serve organisations with assets under management ranging from £1 billion to £50 billion, catering to both private clients and fund-based strategies.
Our clients are primarily based across Europe, with strongholds in the Nordics (our core market), the UK (our growth market), and the Middle East. Regardless of geography, we focus on delivering scalable, future-ready solutions that empower clients to operate efficiently and confidently.

What is next for your business? Can you share the firm's current focus and future plans, such as product development, market expansion, and strategic goals?
We are actively expanding our product capabilities to meet the evolving needs of wealth and asset managers. Current initiatives include enhancements to reconciliation, payments, and compliance workflows—making these processes more intuitive and powerful for back-office users.
Looking ahead, we are developing new front-office tools, including an institutional-grade order management system designed to support portfolio managers with asset-native workflows and enhanced decision-making functionality.
Geographically, we are focused on expanding our footprint in the UK market while continuing to lead in the Nordics. Across the board, our strategic aim is to stay ahead of regulatory and investor-driven change, ensuring our clients can navigate complexity with agility and confidence.
Based on your experience in the wealth management sector, what key opportunities and challenges do you foresee for firms today and in the next three years?
Opportunities :
- AI and hyper-personalisation: AI-driven insights will redefine client engagement, enabling wealth managers to offer personalised planning at scale.
- Digital wealth transfer: the shift in wealth from baby boomers to GenX and millennials will accelerate demand for digital, self-service platforms and seamless user experiences.
- Alternative investments: increased appetite for private equity, real estate, hedge funds, and crypto will create opportunities for firms that can offer a consolidated view across traditional and alternative holdings.
Challenges:
- Fee pressure and margin squeeze: as competitive and regulatory pressures rise, firms must find ways to deliver more value while optimising operational efficiency.
- Cybersecurity: with more digital touchpoints comes greater exposure to risk. Firms must invest in advanced security protocols and threat mitigation strategies.
- Changing client expectations: younger investors expect transparency, mobility, and personalised digital experiences. Firms will need to modernise both systems and service models or risk losing market share.
