FA Solutions was established in 1999 and offers a market-leading portfolio management system for asset and wealth managers. The company currently has offices in 5 locations, with over 80 clients across multiple countries. Many of FA Solutions' clients are Nordic-based, with the majority in the EMEA region. FA Solutions is growing rapidly and expanding into alternative markets, and the company now has a number of clients based in the US and Asia.
The FA Platform is multi-currency, so it is suitable to be used in any country. The FA Platform is a cloud-native SaaS Solution running on micro-services. The platform has open-ended architecture allowing clients to connect to other applications within their IT ecosystem leveraging our open APIs. The system is configurable, with the ability to configure clients' business and operational needs. Hosting is provided by Microsoft Azure and management and maintenance of the platform is overseen by FA Solutions. Being cloud native allows clients to benefit from low cost of ownership as no physical servers are needed on premise.
The FA Platform consists of one database where all data for their business is located, giving a single source of truth. Data Integrity with no lag to retrieve data is also native as all data is in one location. The FA Platform provides reduced operational risk due to the workflows and practices in place. This has stemmed from FA Solutions reviewing all its wealth and asset management clients, looking at their best practice processes and workflows and incorporating these into every implementation undertaken.
FA Solutions provides both private and public market coverage within the platform, which allows clients to manage all of their assets in a single Cloud- based platform. Our users have the ability to define the transaction types for these instruments and how they should impact the book-keeping postings generated. Our data outsourcing team can take quarterly packs from the GPs and enter this data into FA Platform on our clients behalf. Off the back of this data and cash flows we calculate all IRR, TVPI, RVPI, DPI, etc., which are available in our analytics module. We can also provide look through into the underlying portfolio company information when it is entered from the quarterly packs received from the GPs.

The FA Platform is designed for wealth managers and asset managers, as we support the full investment management workflow. Although the FA Platform is primarily used by asset and wealth managers, the system is also used by a number of hedge funds, pension providers and family offices, too.
Partners
FA Solutions has three types of partners within our ecosystem. Firstly we utilise consulting partners, who assist with vendor selection processes, target operating model designs, RFP/RFI processes, and advise on target markets. Secondly we have a vast network of delivery partners who manage the governance and project management office for our implementation projects as well as data migration and other specialist items in the implementation. Finally, we have an ecosystem of technology partners who develop apps and functionalities on top of the open architecture FA Platform and host them within our native app store on the platform.
