The pandemic outbreak of COVID-19 poses challenges for not only investors but also for financial models, and in how to apply them. This holds in particular for models that support risk-return-tradeoffs, such as Asset Liability Management, Goal-Based Planning and Economic Scenario Generator models. This paper addresses some of these challenges and aims to support investors as best as possible in their decision making.
