Russ is joining Ortec Finance from Aviva, where he was a senior manager in the Group Asset Liability Management team and was part of the cross-company climate change risk and opportunities project. At Ortec Finance Russ will be helping clients to understand and act upon the investment implications of climate change.
Russ is a UK-qualified actuary and has previously worked in actuarial consulting and for major insurance companies. Russ led on the physical risk elements of Aviva’s first, award winning, TCFD-compliant climate change report and regularly speaks at industry events on climate change implications for investors.
