Univeris Corporation is a privately held wealth management technology company. It was founded it in 1991, and is headquartered in Toronto.  It has two operating units. The Toronto team builds and supports Univeris Enterprise. Univeris España - formerly TechRules - is based in Madrid and builds and supports Univeris Advisor

Alongside the Madrid-based staff, Univeris España also has a physical presence in Valladolid, Spain and runs operations in Chile, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica and Mexico where focus is on business development and local customer service

Univeris Enterprise is the dominant enterprise retail wealth management platform in Canada. Using it’s decades of experience, it supports more than 85,000 advisors, and helps manage over $450 billion in assets under administration

Univeris Advisor is the front-office platform. It integrates closely with Univeris Enterprise, which gives it an advantage with Canadian clients, but is frequently sold and used independently - adding a simplification layer to disparate tech stacks and multi-platform investment processes.

Strategically, Univeris is now increasing its overseas presence and helping banks, insurers, and wealth managers abroad, leveraging success and reputation in the Canadian market to help them do so.

Customers

Univeris serves more than 30 client relationships across Canada, EMEA and Latin America. In Canada, Univeris Enterprise supports leading insurers, banks and dealer networks, including Canada Life, iA Wealth, Sun Life and Tangerine. In EMEA, Univeris Advisor serves banks and insurers such as Andbank, BBVA, Bankinter, JP Morgan and Comdirect (Commerzbank). In Latin America, it supports banks and wealth managers including BCI, Scotiabank Mexico, BAC and LAFISE. Relationships are long-standing, and several clients have worked with us for over 20 years.

Partners

With Open API architecture, Univeris Advisor integrates with third party software and services seamlessly.  For example, we have embedded digital signatures into advisor / client processes (Docu-sign) and leading CRM (Salesforce) for our clients.
