The Challenge
The client had a strong desire to address two specific challenges in its existing advisory & execution-only business:

  • They needed to digitise many of their existing manual processes
  • They wanted to consolidate their client relationships as assets moved down the generations, creating a wealth retention strategy for the next generation.

With Objectway’s modular deployment approach, whereby we guarantee total integration and a SaaS delivery, we demonstrated that our solution could be implemented in phases underpinning their business process without significant disruption and in a cost-effective manner. 

The Objectway Solution
To address these challenges and deliver a strong platform for growth, Objectway first focused on enabling them to offer a discretionary mandate to clients by deploying our portfolio management system, integrated to the firms existing back-office system.

Phase two saw the deployment of the investor portal: this was the key to improve the digital solution offered to all end-clients and to enable the delivery of all client facing output, switching from paper to digital.

Phase three was to implement the full client lifecycle solution, where efficiencies would be gained in the onboarding of new clients, the creation of new services to existing clients and compliance oversight.

Outcomes
The firm has now:

  • Digitalised onboarding, suitability reviews and client reporting
  • Created a successful discretionary service, actively migrating to a fee driven model
  • Significantly improved a wealth retention strategy for the next generation
  • Improved front-office effectiveness, incresing the number of clients per Investment Manager (+30%)
