For this issue of WealthTech Talks, we caught up with Henry Zelikovsky, Founder and CEO of Sofltlab360.
Softlab360 serves as a software engineering and specialty consulting partner to leading WealthTech and FinTech platforms, unifying data, innovating with AI, and supporting integrations so financial services firms can modernise faster, unlock efficiency, and deliver smarter, more engaging client experiences.
For more than two decades, Softlab360 has helped wealth management and FinTech firms turn complex ideas into production-ready solutions that scale. Drawing on deep domain experience and a strong engineering culture, the firm specialises in solving data, integration, and workflow challenges that sit between business strategy and technology execution. From modernising legacy platforms to operationalising AI, Softlab360 bridges gaps between systems, vendors, and internal teams so firms can innovate faster and with greater confidence.
In this interview, Zelikovsky shared his insight into how wealth management firms can practically leverage data and AI to deliver more personalised, efficient client experiences while reducing operational complexity. Zelikovsky also shared his views on why partnerships across the ecosystem – between platforms, vendors, and specialist engineering firms – are critical to achieving sustainable digital transformation.
Could you provide a brief introduction to your business?
Softlab360 serves as a software engineering and specialty consulting partner to leading WealthTech and FinTech platforms, unifying data, innovating with AI, and supporting integrations so financial services firms can modernise faster, unlock efficiency, and deliver smarter, more engaging client experiences.
In the wealth management sector, what types of clients do you primarily work with and target?
We primarily work with mid- to large-sized wealth management enterprises, independent broker-dealers, RIAs, and FinTech/WealthTech platforms serving those firms across the United States. Our clients are typically growth-oriented organisations that need to modernise complex technology stacks, unify data across multiple systems, and deliver new digital experiences to advisers and investors. We also collaborate with custodians, asset managers, and solution providers that want to extend and integrate their capabilities more deeply into the wealth management ecosystem.
Why do your existing and target clients choose to work with you? What makes your solutions relevant and distinct from your competitors?
Clients choose Softlab360 because we combine senior-level engineering expertise with a deep understanding of how wealth and FinTech businesses actually operate. Rather than offering a single product, we bring a “specialty partner” mindset – designing and building solutions that fit each client’s architecture, data realities, and regulatory environment. Our team is highly experienced in complex integrations, legacy modernisation, and AI-enabled workflows, which allows us to solve problems that standard off‑the‑shelf tools often cannot. Above all, clients value that we operate as an extension of their team: pragmatic, transparent, and focused on delivering measurable outcomes, not just code.
What's next for your business? Can you share the firm's current focus and future plans, such as product development, market expansion, and strategic goals?
Our current focus is on helping wealth management firms operationalise AI and advanced data capabilities in a safe, compliant, and business-aligned way. We are investing in accelerators and reusable components for data unification, API orchestration, and AI-driven advisor and client workflows that can sit inside existing platforms. Strategically, we plan to deepen our partnerships with leading WealthTech and FinTech providers, expand our presence in key US and international markets, and continue building a team of senior engineers and domain specialists. The goal is to remain a trusted partner for firms that want to move quickly, but with architectural rigour and long-term resilience.
Based on your experience in the wealth management sector, what key opportunities and challenges do you foresee for firms today and in the next three years?
We see a major opportunity for firms that can turn fragmented data into a unified, actionable foundation for personalisation, risk management, and operational efficiency. AI and automation will enable richer client experiences and more scalable adviser models, but only for organisations that invest in strong data pipelines, integration strategies, and governance. At the same time, firms face real challenges: legacy technology, rising regulatory expectations, talent constraints, and the need to collaborate across a complex vendor ecosystem. Over the next three years, the winners will be those who treat technology and data as strategic capabilities, not just IT projects, and who surround themselves with partners able to execute on that vision.
