Taking place at Nasdaq MarketSite in New York today, November 2nd 2026, The Wealth Mosaic Live 2026: US is bringing together wealth management leaders and technology providers for a day of industry discussion, practical insights, demonstrations, and networking.

Stephen Wall, Founder of The Wealth Mosaic, opened The Wealth Mosaic Live 2026: US today by setting out the scale of change taking place across the wealth management industry, highlighting how technology, changing client expectations, demographic pressures, and evolving investment propositions are combining to reshape the sector.

Wealth management is being transformed by multiple forces converging at once, from intergenerational wealth transfer and advisor shortages to industry consolidation, new investment propositions, and the rapid adoption of technology, Wall said.

Drawing on more than 20 years in the industry, Wall contrasted today's dynamic environment with the relatively static marketplace he encountered when he first entered the sector. The transfer of wealth between generations, he argued, is changing client expectations and the demands placed on advisors, while creating the possibility that established relationships will move with the money.

“It's a market that is in motion,” said Wall.

He also highlighted the projected shortfall in the advisor population, alongside accelerating consolidation and investment in wealth management infrastructure. The growing availability of private market investments is adding further complexity to the products and services firms must be equipped to offer.

AI was another major theme. Wall pointed to its increasing use in everyday business activities, but stressed the need to understand where deployment is delivering measurable value. He also highlighted the growing relationship between technology infrastructure and investment capabilities, as firms seek to reach, engage, and service clients more effectively.

Referring to research on the changing composition of the workforce, Wall noted that automation could reduce demand for some operational roles while increasing the need for people in client-facing positions.

“There's less need for people in the back office on the operational side, but there's significantly more need for people on the front office relationship side,” he said.

Fast-growing RIAs are already looking to recruit junior advisors and relationship managers to develop client relationships, while technology takes on more operational work. Wall suggested this creates an opportunity for the industry, but also reinforces the importance of recruitment and training as firms adapt.

His remarks set the context for a day of discussion at The Wealth Mosaic Live 2026: US, bringing together wealth management leaders, technology providers, and industry experts to examine the decisions shaping the sector's future.

The all-day event is taking place at Nasdaq MarketSite in New York, with a programme of industry discussion, practical insights, technology demonstrations, and networking. A full program is available here.
