This is the second episode of TWM's new monthly webinar series, delivered in partnership with BrightTALK, called The WealthTech Talks.

In this episode, we are looking at what client lifecycle managemenet is and why it is relevant to wealth managers. This talk is moderated by guest presenter Ian Woodhouse, Head of Strategy & Change at Orbium, and features the expert guests Nina Schneider, Head of Solutions and Products at Appway in Switzerland and Antony Bream, Managing Director, UK & Americas at Wealth Dynamix in the United Kingdom.

Background
Wealth management is a business that has been built on a history of personal relationships, a deep understanding of the client and the allure of a highly personalised service. Historically, however, that model has been highly dependent on individuals and particularly relationship managers and featured little in terms of real process, workflow and focused technological support.

In a more complex environment, think regulation, client expectations, competition, products and more, there is a striking need for process, workflow and technology to support, enhance and enable a better wealth management model. For every participant, client, adviser and wealth management business, there is a clear need and a clear benefit. Enter the role of client lifecycle management (CLM).

CLM offers wealth managers a means to manage and coordinates the full process of the client relationship from prospecting and due diligence, to onboarding, maintaining the relationship throughout its duration, through to ‘offboarding’. For the modern wealth manager, this is a potentially fundamental toolkit to develop and benefit from a full view of the client and the client journey.

In this webinar, you will hear from expert CLM vendors in the wealth management space who will provide their view on:

  • What CLM is, what it does and how wealth management firms can benefit
  • What needs, challenges and opportunities a wealth manager might exhibit to benefit from CLM
  • What trends are at play and what developments and capabilities are coming to further develop and improve the existing CLM offering
  • What is it wealth managers want to see from CLM now and looking forward
  • Where the CLM sits in the technology infrastructure of the modern wealth manager and how it interacts with other parts of that environment
