The Wealth Mosaic is launching WealthTech 2027, the seventh in our annual WealthTech report and industry engagement programme and our most ambitious yet, bringing together a five-city event series, original research, industry analysis, and digital content.
Running from January to March 2027, the project will combine original research, industry analysis, a four-city event series, and digital content to explore the technology priorities shaping wealth management in 2027.
Building on the WealthTech Annual series, the 2027 initiative will bring together perspectives from wealth managers and technology providers to examine the priorities, challenges, and opportunities influencing technology decisions in the year ahead.
The WealthTech challenge for 2027
Wealth management firms are making their technology decisions for 2027 today. Budget cycles run ahead of the calendar, and the choices firms make today will influence which capabilities they develop, which providers they engage, and where they invest in the year ahead.
The Wealth Mosaic's WealthTech 2026 report found that two-thirds of wealth management firms expected their technology budgets to increase in 2026. But the focus was shifting from experimentation to execution: firms needed to demonstrate returns on technology spending while addressing data foundations, system integration, and cybersecurity. These priorities set the context for the investment choices firms and providers are now preparing for 2027.
Three pressures are shaping those decisions now. Regulation continues to influence operational requirements, from the UK’s Consumer Duty to evolving regulatory expectations across international markets. Artificial intelligence (AI) is moving from experimentation towards practical implementation, but firms need the data foundations and infrastructure to make it work effectively. Meanwhile, legacy systems continue to absorb resources, creating difficult choices between maintaining existing technology and investing in future growth.
For wealth managers, the challenge is knowing where to focus their time and budgets. Which technology priorities are emerging across the industry? Where are peers investing? And which providers can help address the business challenges that matter most?
Introducing the WealthTech 2027 project
This is the context for WealthTech 2027. The project will address these questions through three core elements:
- The WealthTech 2027 Annual Report: our annual sense-check of the state of WealthTech.
Published in January 2027, the WealthTech 2027 Annual Report will combine original research, industry analysis, and contributions from wealth managers and technology providers to examine the technology priorities shaping the sector, with contributions from industry participants including sponsorship, articles, interviews, solution showcases, and advertising. Explore the WealthTech 2026 report or book a meeting to discuss contributing.
- WealthTech Pulse research across Asia, Europe, and North America.
WealthTech Pulse will combine surveys and interviews with wealth management firms across Asia, Europe, and North America to explore technology priorities, investment decisions, and challenges. Findings will feature in the main report and a standalone research publication. Book a meeting to discuss research participation or co-sponsorship opportunities.
- The WealthTech 2027 events series, taking place over four cities between January and March 2027.
WealthTech 2027 events will take place in London (28 January), Singapore (25 February), New York (4 March), and Toronto (9 March), bringing wealth management executives and technology providers together for presentations, panels, solution showcases, and networking. Book a meeting to explore sponsorship, speaking, and participation opportunities.
Together, these elements will provide a resource for understanding where the industry is focusing and how its priorities are evolving.

Contributing to the conversation
WealthTech 2027 brings together research, industry analysis, and face-to-face discussion to build a more informed picture of how technology is evolving across wealth management.
The WealthTech Pulse research will provide evidence of firms’ priorities and investment plans. The annual report will place those findings in context through industry analysis and contributions from wealth managers and technology providers. The events will extend that conversation, giving participants the opportunity to challenge assumptions, compare perspectives, and explore the practical implications of emerging trends live, in person, and in real time.
For wealth managers, this combination of evidence and thought leadership can help frame technology decisions: understanding where the industry is heading, evaluating the challenges their peers are addressing, and considering how different solutions might meet their own business needs. Contributors can bring their expertise directly into that decision-making process, connecting industry-wide developments with the practical questions firms face when assessing their technology options.
For contributors, the programme offers several ways to engage with that audience. The annual report provides a platform for sharing perspectives and demonstrating expertise; research participation offers a role in exploring the questions shaping the market; and the event series creates opportunities to exchange ideas with senior wealth management executives. Across the events, contributors can engage through sponsorship, presentations, panel discussions, executive interviews, and solution showcases, with webinars, podcasts, and video interviews extending the conversation beyond the room.
Together, these activities create a connected programme in which research informs the debate, thought leadership deepens understanding, and events bring industry perspectives into direct conversation.
