In 2024, the wealth management landscape continued on its path of change. Now and into the future the industry continues to transform how it approaches clients, the staff it needs to deliver its propositions, the products and services it offers to its clients, the technology that underpins its business, how it charges for its services, and more. Topics like personalisation, digitisation, client experience, adviser enablement, business efficiency and many more are in play. The role of advanced technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics, is driving further into the heart of the sector and its journey of renovation and renewal. As we move into 2025, it is clear that adaptation, innovation and the embracing of new technologies will remain paramount for success.
Key moments for The Wealth Mosaic
Several key moments shaped our year in 2024. One of the highlights has been the continuing growth and development of our online directory. Over the past year, our directory has expanded to now host close to 3,000 solution providers and over 6,000 solutions. Annually that resource is being viewed by over 200,000 users. This increase underscores our commitment to connecting wealth professionals with a broad portfolio of innovative solutions to address their needs. And, despite the years we have invested to build this resource, we believe there is still significant potential to continue to create a valuable knowledge resource for the industry. Watch this space for significant developments in 2025.
2024 also marked the introduction of a new report type – the Toolkit. Designed to deliver practical insights and relevant solutions around topics and themes of relevance to wealth management firms, our Toolkit series has been constructed to help our community better navigate the complexities of wealth management. As part of the Toolkit, we launched a new Roadshow event series, which allowed us to engage directly with some of our audience in multiple locations. Our UK WealthTech Vendor Forum events also provided the perfect opportunity for industry leaders to exchange ideas and insights, supporting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the WealthTech space.
Content creation has remained a core focus for us. Throughout the year, we produced a comprehensive collection of reports, webinars, interviews, and publications, including WealthTech 2024 and the Swiss WealthTech Landscape Report 2024. Our CX Toolkit 2024 and US WealthTech Landscape Report 2024 further enriched our library of resources, proving instrumental to our audience as they navigate an increasingly complex landscape.
Looking ahead: activities in January 2025
Looking ahead to 2025, we are pleased to announce several events that will bring our community together to share ideas, learn from each other, and connect. In January, we will host multiple events, including the UK WealthTech Vendor Forum on January 16th, the US WealthTech Vendor Forum on January 22nd , and the AI Toolkit Roadshow in New York, also on January 22nd. These events aim to facilitate connections among industry professionals and showcase the latest advancements within the sector.
We also anticipate the publication of our AI Toolkit 2025 report, set to be published in Q1. This report will provide valuable insights into the application of AI within wealth management, equipping professionals with the knowledge needed to leverage the emerging AI-related technologies.
