This all day event provided valuable insights into all things WealthTech in and around the Swiss and international wealth management sectors. The extensive discussions and debate covered the most pressing topics of the moment, while engaging market participants from private banks, cantonal banks, external asset managers, family offices, technology vendors, consultants, and more who shared their views, experiences and vision for the future.
We caught up with Christian during the event and asked him what aspects of Client Experience he felt were most overlooked in wealth management today.
Christian underlined the importance of client education, with banks and wealth managers today sending a lot of newsletters and regularly sharing content with their client base. In his view: “There is, however, still an opportunity in his view to shift from impersonal, paper based client communications to better use of digital channels to offer insight and recommendations relevant to each client.”
“In today’s time pressured world, not only the frequency of the communication needs to be adjusted, but also the format. Content must be short, engaging, relevant and actionable.
Informing and educating today’s client on a continual basis are key, such that clients are well positioned to take informed decisions that are relevant and right for them.”
