The Wealth Mosaic Live 2026: United States is now just one month away!
On November 2nd, The Wealth Mosaic will bring together wealth management leaders, practitioners and technology providers in New York on 2 November for The Wealth Mosaic Live 2026: United States, a day focused on the decisions shaping the industry's next phase of technology adoption.
With around 250 executive delegates, more than 40 speakers and 15 sessions, the program is built around a practical question: how can wealth managers turn technology investment into better businesses, better operations, and better outcomes?
Rather than treating technology as a collection of individual products or trends, the event will examine how firms are putting technology to work across the wealth management business – from AI and the RIA operating model to investment allocation and technology strategy.
The leaders’ view
The event kicks off by bringing together four senior voices from across the US wealth management industry: Tricia Rothschild, President & CEO of CFA Institute, Natalie Wolfsen, CEO of Orion, Mike Durbin, CEO of Cetera, and Aaron Schumm, Founder, CEO & Chairman of Vestwell. Moderated by Rothschild, the discussion will take stock of where the US wealth management industry stands today, the challenges and opportunities ahead, and the forces that will shape its next phase.
From AI experimentation to measurable value
Artificial intelligence (AI) will be a major thread running through the day and in particular through the dedicated AI in Play 2026-27 morning program, with the focus firmly on implementation. It will look at where AI is delivering value now and what comes next – moving beyond experimentation to the question of measurable ROI.
The morning will combine a keynote from VastAdvisor CEO & Co-Founder Ian Karnell with a discussion on AI's role in wealth management and live technology demonstrations – featuring Joe Sullivian, Senior Director of Strategic Accounts at Backbase; Mohan Gurupackiam¸CIO at Steward Partners, James Huyton, Amercas Banking & Practice Lead at Synpulse; and Babu Sivadasan, Founder & CEO at JiffyAI – giving delegates the opportunity to see how providers and wealth managers are approaching practical applications of AI technology.
The discussion will move beyond the question of what AI can do to consider what it takes to make AI work in practice – and generate meaningful business value. The program will then put technology into action with live AI showcase demonstrations from d1g1t and Unique, followed by three case studies from Storyline, Equitable Advisors with Jump AI, and FNZ.
Together, the morning sessions will explore the progression from AI's potential, through implementation and experimentation, to real-world applications within wealth management.
What does the modern RIA operating system look like?
The afternoon will turn from individual technologies to the wider architecture of the wealth management business, as a pair of simultaneous topic breakout sessions address what a technology-enabled wealth management operating model actually looks like today.
Technology does not exist in isolation from the investment proposition or the decisions firms make about how they operate. That’s why these latter sessions will explore some of the strategic choices facing wealth management firms as technology becomes increasingly embedded in the business:
- What should firms develop themselves?
- What should they buy from specialist providers?
- And where does renting infrastructure or capability make more sense?
The Modern RIA Operating System topic breakout, chaired by Michael Casciano, President & Founder, EVO Wealth will bring together a suite of nine providers to explore the technology journey of a modern RIA, giving delegates the opportunity to see how different technology capabilities fit into the wider wealth management workflow.
Breakout panellists include Ian Karnell, CEO & Co-Founder of VastAdvisor; Tom Burmeister, VP Product Solutions at Conquest Planning, and Bob Leaper, Senior Business Developmetn Executive at SmartLeaf; Jim Hardeman, EVP Product at Zocks; Mark Ovaska, Head of Product at Field; Peter Dietrich, Global Head of Index Sales at TMX VettaFi; David Navama, CEO & Co-Founder at Storyline; and David Rankin, Chief Revenue Officer at Proteus.
Alongside it, the Operations & Efficiency 2026 session, featuring Docupace, will examine the operational side of the equation: how firms can use technology to build more efficient businesses while supporting the demands of a modern wealth management operation.
The afternoon program then moves into The Practitioner's Allocation Toolkit, providing a practitioner-led perspective on portfolio allocation and featuring Patrick Spencer, Head of of Strategic Advisory at A2 Investment Partners, Ryan Gorman, Portfolio Manager at Tamarisk Capital; Dan Magnetta, Head of Investment Strategy at Barnabas Capital; and Miles Healey, Managing Partner at NextFolio.
That will then be followed by our keynote from Rich Walker, CEO of Quik!, titled Trust Is a Design Decision, which turns attention to the relationship between technology, design, and trust.
The program then tackles one of the most persistent strategic questions around wealth technology with Buy, Build, Rent: Where's the Industry in 2026?. Hilda Wong-Doo, Founding Member of Greenline Consultants will join Michael Wood, CEO of Domify, Henry Zelikovsky, CEO of SoftLab360, and Victor Nieves, Enterprise Client Executive at FIS to consider the choices firms face when deciding how to acquire and develop the technologies they need.
A fireside conversation featuring Lori Hardwick, Senior Strategic Advisor at Genstar Capital, and Michael Partnow, Corporate Strategy/Commercialization at The Wealth Mosaic, will provide another opportunity to step back from individual technologies and consider the wider direction of the industry.
Across the program, the emphasis is on the practical questions facing wealth management businesses: how to turn AI investment into value, how to build an effective technology operating model, how technology is changing the way firms work, and how leaders should approach the strategic choices that accompany that transformation.
