Featuring 19 thought-provoking articles and interviews on a range of technology-related topics around the Swiss wealth management sector, 20 featured solution provider profiles and 464 technology and related solution providers in the main directory

December 3rd, 2021 - London, UK - The Wealth Mosaic (TWM), the definitive solution provider directory and knowledge resource for the global wealth management sector, is pleased to announce the release of its second annual Swiss WealthTech Landscape Report (Swiss WTLR).

As part of an annual release series, the Swiss WTLR 2021 project is focused on creating and sharing the definitive guide to the technology (i.e., WealthTech) and related solution provider (i.e., consulting, research, analysts, etc.) marketplace available to all forms of wealth management business in Switzerland. This second edition of the Swiss WTLR includes 464 solution providers in the main directory section and feature-length profiles for 20 solution providers. Supporting that, the report also contains 19 thought-provoking articles and interviews on a range of technology-related topics around the Swiss wealth management sector with contributions from technology firms, consultants, industry associations and wealth managers.

In an environment where there is a clear increase in the range and complexity of the technology-related business needs of wealth managers of all types, alongside a growing and increasingly complex WealthTech marketplace, this report and our even more extensive website which sits behind it (www.thewealthmosaic.com), seek to bring to market the broadest, most relevant and accessible and most wealth- management-focused solution provider directory and knowledge resource for the benefit of both Swiss wealth management firms and the ecosystem of players around them. For anyone wishing to understand, navigate and engage with the WealthTech marketplace for Swiss wealth managers, the Swiss WTLR 2021 has been built to support your needs.

This second edition of the Swiss WTLR has seen the main directory in the report grow from a little over 300 firms in 2020’s first edition to 464 firms this year. This growth highlights both TWM’s growing knowledge of the market as well as the simple fact that more solution providers are serving, targeting or simply just relevant to the business needs of the Swiss wealth management market, said Stephen Wall, Co-Founder and Head of Directory, Content & Insights at The Wealth Mosaic. Stephen added, “While more solution providers in the market does not necessarily mean better outcomes every time, the growth, relevance and focus on the WealthTech market should be a seen as a strong development for the Swiss wealth management market.”

Going further, we see a range of positive developments in the international WealthTech market which play well for the Swiss wealth management centre. They are: market depth and variety which equals greater choice for wealth managers, more point solutions which provides focus and expertise, the theme of being built for wealth, which means wealth management comes first, broader and more sophisticated tech capabilities such as in areas like AI, greater connectivity between providers which benefits the entire market in time, and seeing how the established solution provider marketplace is also adapting to stay relevant, Wall concluded.
